Five-Day Funeral Service Continues



     Bangkok, 29 Oct.- His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn presided over the royal ceremony at the Grand Palace to make merit Sunday.

     The King traveled from Dusit Palace to the Dusdit Throne Hall in the Grand Palace with Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha and Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana to offer food alms to Buddhist monks. Afterwards, the king presented the religious  gifts to the clerical titles who perform praying in the ceremony.

     The royal urn which is filled with the ashes of the late king, cremated on Oct. 26, was moved in the royal possession from Dusit Throne Hall to Jakkri Throne Hall to be placed on the heavily platform inside the hall later in the ceremony.
