Yellow Vest targeted by tear gas

    Paris, France, 15 Dec. - The defiant anti-government so called "Yellow Vest" demonstration has turned violent Saturday as police firing tear gas at Champs-Elysee Avenue in the capital.

     Thousands of police officers with riot gear used tear gas to disperse the protesters who were trying to break through the police line as they protested against high living cost.

     Saturday's demonstration mostly seemed to be the peaceful one but the new series of clashes turned up at 3.20 pm Saturday local time.

    Police have detained around 100 people in the fifth weekend of movement.
