Army Urges CMPO to Take Action
Mar, 6, 14 – The army chief Thursday has urged the Center for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) to file the police complaint against the UDD leader named Koti who was setting up the separatism sign in Bangkok.
Prayut Chan-o-cha, the army chief said that the CMOP and government sectors have to take legal action against groups, having the idea of the country division, because the main duty of government bodies at the moment is to maintain peace in the area that the emergency decree is being effective particularly in Bangkok and its surroundings. He added that the Royal Thai Army works legally under the constitution without bias like it did in 2010.
Chan-o-cha also told reporters that the incitement has constantly continuingly been conduct by the few groups of insurgents, adding that he has file the police complaint against these group as his legal duty.
However, the Pathunthani provincial Red Shirt leader, Wuthipong Kojadhammakun as known as Koti, yesterday admitted with journalists that he set the separatism sign upon the overpass in Donmuang, Bangkok.
Koti said that the setting up was just another round of the United front for Democracy against Dictatorsihip (UDD)’s symbolic movement, adding the action has done in order to retaliate the army as it took legal action against the UDD
