Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and UAE's Ambassadors Recalled from Qatar

Mar, 5,14 - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates Wednesday have withdrawn their
ambassadors from Qatar because of a failure to implement a security agreement among the Gulf Cooperation Council.

VOA news reported that Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have recalled their ambassadors from Qatar. The three countries said Qatar signed the agreement over three months ago yet the nation has not taken necessary actions.

The statement said the foreign ministers of the six-member GCC met Tuesday to stress to Qatar the significance of the deal. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE decided to pull their ambassadors to protect the security and stability of their nations.
