Ukraine's PM : Crimean Decision "Unlawful" & No One Concedes Referendum

Mar, 7, 14 - Ukraine's Prime Minister Friday has been reinforcing the interim government's rejection regarding Crimea's move, saying that no one in the civilized world will approve the results of Crimea's referendum.

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said at Friday's news conference he wants to warn the separatists in the autonomous region, describing  as traitors of the country that any of their decisions are unlawful.

The Russia-backed Autonomous Republic of Crimea's parliament on Thursday voted to join the Russian Federation, arranging a referendum on March 16  instead of March 30. A flurry of political reaction in Kyiv was trigger by the vote. European countries and the United States however denounced the referendum as illegal.

Ukrainian opposition icon Yulia Tymoshenko Thursday urged Europe to take certain action in order to prevent  Crimean peninsular of Ukraine from joining Russia, describing the action would damage stability of the whole continent.

Since last week, western analysts say thousands of Russian troops have been deployed into Crimea.

Ukraine's crisis started when protests erupted in late November after impeached President Viktor Yanukovych made a decision not to sign an economic deal with the EU in favor of closer ties with Russia.
