DSI to Arrest Suthep
Mar, 6, 14 - The Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) in Thailand Thursday has revealed the plan to arrest jointly taken by the National Police Office and the DSI.
Dharit Pengdit, the Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) said that the department consulted with the National Police Office on capturing the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC)’s secretary general, Suthep Tueksuban, and the former Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, in the case of violent crackdown in 2010 before the end of the demonstration. He also said that the arrest warrants of Tueksuban and Vejjajiva approved by the criminal court issued on Thursday.
The arrest warrant of PCRC’s Suthep Tueksuban is the third one for him.
