Govt. to Be Ready for Paying Debts
Mar, 4, 14 - The caretaker government Tuesday has confirmed that it will ready to pay the debt, owing the rice growers for at least four months, within one week.
Nivadhamrong Boonsongpaisan, the Commerce Minister, elaborated that the Baipratuan, rice selling certificate, has no expired dates, adding that the government has to pay the overdue debts to farmars.
Boonsongpaisan also revealed that the government established funds of the Bank for the Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives to help farmers, urging all sectors to deposit with the funds.
In addition, Nivadhamrong Boonsongpaisan, Thanusak Lek-u-thai, and Varathep Ratanakorn insisted that the Yingluck's administration will certainly can pay the subsidy to rice growers as the $ 2000 million has been paid to farmers.
