Document Filed at BMA to Take Action against Ratsadorn Group

 
        Bangkok, Thailand (Feb. 15) The secretary general to the Thai Constitution Protection Assembly, Srisuwan Chanya, has filed a document at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) Monday against the demonstrators, rallying at the Constitution Monument and marching to the Bangkok' City Pillar Shrine Saturday, with the charge of causing depreciation in value of public properties.

        Ratsadorn Group had set a rally led by Panupong Chadnok, Attapong Buapat, Piyarat Chongte and Panassaya Sittichirawattanakul at the Constitution Monument days ago before it moved its sit in to the Supreme Court. The rally was unlawful as the protesters dismantled and caused depreciation in value of floral decorations located around the monument which violate section 360 of Thai Penalty Code mentioned "Whoever, damages, destroys, causes depreciation in value or renders useless the properties according to the first paragraph of Section 335 , which are stood in the places according to the second paragraph of Section 335, shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding ten years or fined not exceeding twenty thousand Baht, or both."

        According the odious event, Thai Constitution Protection Assembly today has filed a document calling for Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to take action against those who committed such offences with 2  requests: 

    1) to inspect the damages of the floral decorations situated around the monument in order to file civil lawsuit 

    2) to order lawyers of Environment Bureau so as to file both civil and criminal lawsuit against those who made the offences

    Meanwhile, Thai PM General Prayuth Chan-o-cha had addressed at the news conference before he presided over the ministerial meeting via video conference, saying quote - who spiraled the violence up?
