Angthong Bank Halts Its Services

        Angthong, Thailand (Feb 24) – A Krungthai Bank in Angthong province has urgently paused its services as a result of the information issued by the provincial health bureau, showing a woman stricken with Covid-19 accessed services there on  Feb. 18.

        The woman, having no Smartphone, was required to enlist at the Krungthai Bank for the relief scheme called Rauchana on Feb. 18. 

        However, the bank had complied basic hygiene and screening procedures, requiring clients to wear protective masks before entering the building. Social distancing was also implemented. The woman, who was examined by health volunteers, didn’t show any signs of high temperature.

        All workers, working on the day, tested negative for Covid-19, were ordered to work from home for 14 days as self isolation. Some information is applied from Naewna and Bangkokbiznews.
