2 Lakh Sinovac Doses to Reach Thailand Wednesday
Bangkok, Thailand (Feb. 21) - The first lot of 2 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses - Sinovac - will have reached Thailand Wednesday.
Public Health Minister Anuthin Charnvirakul have posted on his Facebook page, displaying the picture of a number of Sinovac doses, that the vaccine will have arrived in the country Wednesday. He added that 2 million doses in total will be at hand within April.
The inoculation plan in Thailand can be formally separated into three phrases as the director of Sub Committee of Covid-19 Vaccination Management, Dr. Sopon Mekthon, mentioned on Jan 15.
Firstly, medical personnel, people who are suffered from respiratory diseases, cardiac disease, chronic kidney disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancers, officials working in state managed isolation facilities are the initial group to get the jabs.
The same groups from the first phase are the subject, but the plan covers those throughout the kingdom in the second phase.
