Arrest Warrant Issued for "Amy, the Bottom Blues"

        Bangkok, Thailand (Mar. 2) - The Criminal Court has issued the warrant of arrest for Chaiamorn Kaewwiboonpan or Amy, the Bottom Blues - an artist who constantly joins the demonstrations on the accusation of insulting the monarchy formulated in Section 112, practicing arson and violating Computer Crime Act.

        At 3.00 pm local time at the Bankok Metropolitan Police Bureau, Deputy Metropolitan Police Commissioner Pol Maj Gen Piya Tawichai revealed further developments on the arson of the king's portrait, situated in front of  Klong Prem Central Prison that the authorities have checked CCTV and evidences left at the scene and have asked the court for the arrest warrant for 3 suspects. The pre, while, and post arson were acknowledged including escaping route.

        One of perpetrators is a political activist. Additionally, Pol Maj Gen Piya Tawichai said that the arrest offensive will have been conducted once the warrant is issued.

        He also argued that the fake picture, claiming tear gas was being used during crowd control operation, was a hoax. He added that fog machine was used to instigate public and calumniate the police. Some information is applied from Khaosod and The Thaiger.
