HM King Takes all Injured in his Care: Pol Maj Gen Piya Tawichai

        Bangkok, Thailand (Mar. 22) - His Majesty the King has mercifully taken those injured on Saturday in his care, said Pol Maj Gen Piya Tawichai, a spokesperson to the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Bureau on Monday.

        He revealed that the king kindly taken all injured during the demonstration Saturday including REDEM's protesters. He added that the injuries were 50 police personnel and other demonstrators and correspondents.

        Furthermore, Thai Prime Minister, Gen. Prayuth Chan-o-cha reiterated that all sectors to comply internationally accepted crowds control. He also delivered sincere condolence to a Channel 8's correspondent, having medical treatment at the infirmary, who was hit at the head by a rubber bullet, according to the spokesperson.

        The premiere, too, insisted that the police had warned the defiant demonstrators periodically before the rubber bullets were use to control crowds. 

         The Pol Maj Gen said 20 demonstrators were arrested and taken to the inquiry police for regulatory process. Police have already learned that the perpetrator who threw explosive devices to police is a security guard and the police are scoring for the culprit.
