789 Stricken with Covid-19 in Thailand Saturday & Caseload tops 30,000
Bangkok, Thailand (Apr.10) - New 789 Covid-19 patients have been confirmed Saturday, resulted of Thonglor cluster proliferating the number of caseload in the country.
The new cluster originated at entertainment venues at Thonglor rapidly surged the nation with the pathogen. As of Saturday, 31,685 stricken with the coronavirus have been confirmed. Additionally, 1 died of the pathogen.
The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) projected that the daily confirmed cases will reached 10,000 if the citizens don't comply with Covid-19 protocols.
CCSA asked all sectors for cooperation to strictly comply with basic hygiene methods for instant wearing a protective mask, washing hands and social distancing.
As the virus is surging the nation, the Royal Thai Army has set up the first phase of field hospitals, being able to treat 2,220 Covid-19 patients in 12 different locations. The temporary infirmaries would be installed at 1st Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment with 200 sick beds and Royal Army Medical Corps with 930 sick beds for example, according a deputy spokeswoman to the PM Office - Ratchada Thanadirek.
