Navy Commander-in Chief Tested Negative for Covid
Bangkok Thaila nd (Apr. 12) - The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, Admiral Chatchai Sriworakan has been tested negative for Covid-19 after a lieutenant stricken with the pathogen participated in a military exercise ,according to Admiral Chetta Chaipiem - a spokesperson of the Royal Thai Navy.

The spokesman added that the commander did not have lunch with those infected with the disease. Admiral Chetta Chaipiem detailed that the commander would undergo 14-day self isolation and work-form-home measure. Additionally, Admiral Chatchai Sriworakan would be examined for the pathogen again on Apr. 15.
Furthermore, 30 marines who have lunch after the military exercise were now in the state quarantine.
Meanwhile, the navy have prepared field infirmaries:
1. Air and Coastal Defense Operations Center Field Hospital, where 46 Covid patients were sent for treatment from Chonburi Hospital, with 320 patient beds
2. Phramahajessadaratjao Navy Base Field Hospital with 174 sick beds
3. Navy Shooting Range No.16 Field Hospital which are capable of treating 232 Covid-19 patients.
