Navy's Beaches Closed due to Covid-19
Chonburi, Thailand (Apr. 18) - Navy has issued close order to shut beaches in its custody to cope with the rapidly proliferating number people stricken with Covid-19 in the province.
The Navy Commander-in-chief, Admiral Chatchai Sriworakan, formulated the Covid norms of the Navy following the Chonburi's provincial order and the resolution of the Provincial Committee of Contagious Diseases.
Bhakrathorn Thienchai, Conburi's provincial governor, mandated the protocols to fight the new wave of Covid-19, prohibiting the assembly people in large number except those working out and permitted by the committee.
Beaches, put under closure order, are Dontan, Toey-Ngam , So, Sai Kaew. Na Jomtien was also closed.
Bang Sare, however, are now available for beach goers. In addition to this, shops, restaurants have to comply with Covid norms.
