Handful of Ratsadorn’s Demonstrators Call for Release of Group Leaders on MBK Skywalks

        Bangkok, Thailand (Apr. 21) – A handful of Ratsadorn has gathered at MBK Wednesday, calling for the released of its leaders being detained at Bangkok Remand Prison.

        The group appeared on MBK Skywalks at 2 pm local time, wearing inmate figures, to participated in Stand to Stop Detention, calling for the released of the leaders charged with the multiple accusations of violating Section 112 and 116 of the Thai Penalty Code.

        They stood still for 112 minutes, the symbolic number to defy Section 112, harmoniously opening a song called Starlight of Belief

        Mr. Nawapol Ton-ngam told The Reportes that the group would continue to participated in such activities. The form of demonstration will have move to various business districts across the capital.

        He continued that the police had informed them the related regulations before the activity was initiated, prohibiting the assembly of 50 people and encouraging protesters to comply with Covid norms e.g. wearing protective masks, social distancing, temperature checking.
