I'll Wait until All Medical Officers Inoculated : House Speaker
Bangkok, Thailand (Apr. 19) - House Speaker - Chuan Leekpai - has insisted that he will get the vaccine shot unless all medical officers are vaccinated.

"Around 200 representatives, and employees proposed the requirement to get the jab between 16th and 30th April." he added.
He continued that the medical officials working in the remote areas haven't been injected with any doses of the vaccine due to low number of available vaccine shots, alluding the elaboration of public health minister, Anuthin Charnveerakul.
"Medical workers will have been inoculated in the next two weeks." he inserted.
When asked about his personal jabs, he answered that he would wait until all Covid-19 frontline workers underwent vaccine injection to avoid criticism that law makers applied short cut the get the vaccine.
He also urged all sectors to maintained Covid norms and he understood the risk of virus exposure as representatives met large number of people daily but now medical workers are now directly facing the pathogen.
When asked about vaccine procurement and the procurement acceleration via the house, he replied that the the parliament wouldn't get any involvement on that as the parliament's onus isn't to import the vaccine.
