Moving Forward Party Spokesman Pressures House Speaker to Get Vaccinated
Bangkok, Thailand (Apr. 21) - Wiroj Lakanaadisorn, a spokesman to Moving Forward Party, has a guilty conscience on getting vaccinated as he pressured House Speaker - Chuan Leekpai - to get the jab soon on Tuesday.
Wiroj Lakanaadisorn appeared at Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institution to get vaccinated on Apr.16 |
The spokesman said that Chuan Leekpai was one of the first target group to be inoculated as the Ministry of Public Health drew framework of vaccine rollout. He continued that people aged above 60 will develop severe symptoms if they are infected with Covid-19. He expressed that the house speaker participated in the parliamentary meeting with hundreds of representatives.
"No reasons will be claimed for justification to get the jab. House Speaker's personal vaccination postponement won't accelerate the country's inoculation rate because the ministry already partitioned the shots. For the low rate of the vaccination among frontline medical workers, we have to question the involved bodies." he said.
On Monday, House Speaker - Chuan Leekpai - insisted that he would get the vaccine shot unless all medical officers were vaccinated. Conversely, Wiroj Lakanaadisorn who repeatedly interpolated the efficacy of the vaccine rushed to Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institution at the early hours on the first day (Apr.16) of vaccine rollout for representatives.
