New Covid-19 Cluster Emerges in Ayutthaya

        Ayuttthaya, Thailand (Apr. 18) - The new Covid-19 cluster has been detected in the famous historical site of Ayutthaya, risking nearly a thousand of people.

        Health officials set up Covid-19 testing center to serve residents for free to respond with the proliferating number of people stricken with pathogen at Ayutthaya's Central Market for Agricultures.

        Covid-19 proactive testing has been upgraded its capacity to test from 300 people to 800 people ,who are at high risk of the pathogen exposure, and prolonged the service to Monday.

        The market were put on hold Saturday after reports of Covid-19 spreading  among customers, sellers and  employees. 23 of those were reportedly stricken with the virus. But, some are now operating to dispatch goods odered days ago.

        Sanitizing practices were also applied at the market.

        The new cluster at the market had reportedly originated by 2 cooks of a restaurant who obtained the disease transmission from their granddaughter, visiting clubs and bars at Thonglor.
