Police Hospital Begins Autopsy on Vaccine Recipient's Death
Bangkok, Thailand (Apr. 2) - Police Hospital has begun autopsy on the vaccine recipient's death a day after he got the vaccine jab of AstraZeneca on Wednesday.

The recipient was a 71-year-old abbot assistant of Sampanthawng Temple who was vaccinated on Mar. 31.
He was found dead in the temple's accommodation at 2 pm local time on Thursday, making it difficult to identify the exact time of cardiac arrest.
The preliminary investigation shows that the vaccine recipient had been suffered from a number of health disorder e.g. diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia and the cause of death is expected to be a perfect storm. Conversely, other vaccine recipients haven't shown any signs of side effect related to the vaccine.
Somsak Akkasin, the Secretary-General to Medical Department, revealed that the abbot assistant was vaccinated at 10 am Wednesday and complete the 30-minute observatory period. He was in good condition on the day.
Mr. Anutin Charnveerakul, Public Health Minister, delivered condolences on the loss of the abbot assistant. He added that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has certified the efficacy and the safety of the vaccine.
The minister insisted that the inoculation is a must, adding that people shouldn't be panic.
He reiterated that the Medical Department will detail the cause of the death once the autopsy is done.
