Buddhist Amulet Centers & Swimming Pools Paused Operation

        Nonthaburi, Thailand (Apr. 20) - Nonthaburi province has issued the close order for Buddhist amulet centers and swimming pools and limited the number of clients for fitness centers and saunas.

        Suchin Chaichumsak signed the Covid norm order No. 1045/2564 to temporarily close place in the province to contain the Covid spike.

        Places to face close order are Buddhist amulet centers and swimming pools including those installed in condominiums and villages.

        While fitness centers can continue to serve clients under official Covid norms by limiting number of fitness goers and prohibiting group workout and saunas. The order will have taken effect by Apr. 20. 

        Nonthaburi is now experiencing the grim Covid caseload. In April, 795 people have been infected with the virus.
