Bangkok, Thailand (Oct. 7) - Just Economy and Labor Institute (JELI) acompanied by Labor Network for People's Right led by Miss Thanaporn Wijantra has proposed Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Mr. Sutthi Sukosol, and Mr. Thossapol Kritwongsawiman, who are in charge in social welfare affairs, the letter, calling for the tangible reform on the process of investment of the Office of Social Welfare.

The group also needed the office to establish a committee to validate the process of investment including the number of shares, capital, profits, and losses in Sri Panwa Hotel so that the information should be promulgated.

Futhermore, the group called for the revamp of the office as the independent organization, ceasing any intervention and the increase in public participation. It added the members of board of committee must be from the publicly voting process and the remaining compensation for vacant people due to Covid-19 outbreak in the country is currently a must. The compensation has to be 62 per cent of the remuneration and be paid within October.

The secretary of  the Social Welfare Office revealed that the requests of the group will have been consulted. Yet, he denied elaborating details regarding the investment in Sri Panwa.

The validation is the result of the riddle expression of a managing director, Worasit Isara, over the blasphamy on the monarchy spoken by a female leader of Free People Group last month. Some information is applied from ThaiPBS.
