Thai Subjects Mark Commemoration of King Rama IX's Death


          Bankok, Thailand (Oct. 13) - Thai premier, Gengeral Prayuth Chan-o-cha, has presided over the merit-making ceremony Tuesday to commemmorate the 4th anniversary of King Rama IX's death at Royal Funeral Field.

          Mr. Chan-o-cha , Thai Prime Minister and the Minister of defence, accompanied by his spouse presided over the ceremmony at the Royal Funeral Field in the capital, also placing wreath in front of the picture of the late king.  

          At Siriraj Hospital, Mr. Prasit Wadanabha, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Mahidol University, also presided the ceremony with Thai subjects, harmoniously wearing yellow shirts.

          In Korat, Nong Kai, Yasothorn, and Loei provinces, people, also wearing yellow costumes, attended the giving alms bowl ceremony for 89 Buddist monks. 

          After the ceremony, the subjects  have joined an activity to show public mind in Bueng Kan province.
