Lawsuit to be Taken: PM
Thailand (Oct. 5) - Thailand's Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-o-cha has reiterated Monday that the corruption in the National Health Security Office (NHSO) must be solved following the revelation of corrupt process in the Universal Healthcare Programe.
The relinquished and banned 190 clinics in the program across the capital came after Mr. Pradeomchai Boonchueylua - Puea Thai Party's repersentative - had unearthed the truth in the parliament in July. Mr. Boonchueylua substantiated that at least 18 clinics in Bangkok used to withdraw the endowment which is over the actual cost from the Program.
Mr. Chan-o-cha also said the lawsuit must be taken because there have been the obvious evidences and the administration already focused on the elimination of corruption in the country.
The relinquishment has left over 2 milion people affected, the governmet will seek other infirmaries for those affected though.
