Trump Rejects $2.4 Trillion Relief Package
US (Oct.6) - President Trump ordered representatives from the White House to repudiate with the democrats on the new Covid-19 stimulus package Tuesday afternoon, promting the slip on Wall Street.
. One day after the president's return to the White House, he rejected a $2.4 trillion house stimulus package.
Trump posted on his Tweeter qoute - Nancy Pelosi is asking for $2.4 Trillion Dollars to bailout poorly run, high crime, Democrat States, money that is in no way related to COVID-19. He also added that the negotiation will be suspended after the presidential election. After his vitory, he will immediatelty pass a major stimulus bill which focus on hardworking Americans and small businesses.
The major U.S. stock indexes each slipt more than 1% since the announcement.
Many say the halt could deteriorate his reelection prospects, put his political canvass in turmoil and the latest opinion poll shows that former Vice-president is significantly in the lead.
The president is now quarantining in the White House after he entered the Covid-19 recovery at Walter Reed Hospital in Maryland late last week. Some information is applied bt UPI and AP.
