New Storm to Batter Thailand: TMD

          Thailand (5 Oct.) - Thai Meteorological Department has issued the weather warning regarding the active depression in the middle of the South China Sea.

          The storm is likely to be upgraded. It will have moved ashore by Oct. 7 in the southern part of Vietnam. By Oct. 8, it will have moved westward to the upper Gulf of Thailand. 

          The active system results in very heavy downpour in the lower Northeast, the Central, the East and the South from Oct. 7-9. 

          In addition to this, wind waves in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea are expected to be at 2-4 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep ashore during the period of time.
