New Finance Minister Appointed

          Thailand (5 Oct.) -  His Majesty the King has officially appointed Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith as finance minister on Monday. 

          Mr. Termpittayapaisith was the Minister of Transport during the junta government in 2015. He was also in many political significant positions e.g. a member of the National Legislative Assembly, and the Deputy Minister of Transport. 

          The resignation of the ex-finance minister, Preedee Daochai, was revealed last month amid the rumor of inner conflict. Mr. Daochai said that he quited the position because of his personal poor health.
