Saudi Arabia Reopens Holiest Sites

          Saudi Arabia (5 Oct.) - The government of Saudi Arabia has reopened the Islamic holiest site for Umrah pilgrims since Friday under the restricted hygine procedures.

          The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah displayed the pictures of the pilgrims practicing social distancing on Sunday. The ministry will allow the enlisted religious travelers to enter the holy site. The  registration process has been available since Sep. 27. Since then, over hundred thousand people have enrolled.

          The kingdom terminated the religious rite on Feb. 27 and prohibited foreigners from entering the country. Also, the local travelling ban was imposed on Mar. 4.
