Korat People Bracing for More Flood Waters
Korat, Thailand (Oct. 10) - People in the eastern province, Korat, are bracing for the flood waters from Khoa Yai National Reservation Saturday, inundating houses situated in the area of Pakchong Municipality.
Hundreds meters of Mitrapap Highway has been in the deluge and Pakchong Water Supply Facility has stopped providing people in the area running water.
People, having habitat along Lamtakong Cannal, were affected by the rapidly rising current that is beleived to be the highest in a decade.
In addition to this, Provincail Electricity Authority (PEA) has already halted electric services beacuse the rising fear of electric shok.
Small vehicles should not be used to travel in the area at this moment. Some information is applied from ThaiPBS.
